The Capaora Mini pendant is inspired by the historic silhouette of 18th-century navajas from Albacete. Its elongated form, also called Cow’s Tongue, gives the piece a confident and restrained character. The miniature is functional and opens using the traditional Palanquilla system, producing the recognizable carraca click of Spanish navajas. An authentic detail that connects the pendant with Albacete’s artisan heritage. Ideal for those who appreciate accessories with personality and cultural depth.
Capaora follows the form of the 18th-century Albacete navajas, the slender silhouette called Lengua de Vaca, the Cow’s Tongue. Forty millimetres of stainless steel with a real Palanquilla lock that clicks open and shut. A working folding knife you wear at the throat.
Albacete has forged navajas for three centuries. Capaora carries that heritage in a piece small enough to live on a chain. For the days you decide to do the thing.
Albacete is the Spanish capital of metalwork: centuries of smiths, knife-makers and silversmiths. Since 2017 the craft has been recognised as Bien de Interés Cultural, official Spanish cultural heritage. The navaja de Albacete is one of its symbols. Capaora comes from that tradition, not from an anonymous workshop.
A real object has character. The matte steel and the marks of working the metal are not flaws, they are the signature of a living piece, not a mirror-polished stamping from nowhere. Hold it and you feel the difference at once.
